Mission Statement

The purpose of the Christian Education Committee of Northminster Presbyterian Church is to provide for all ages an education which is Christian at its basis and essence, so that people of all ages have an opportunity to grow towards likeness in Christ both in their thinking and behavior.

Our Christian education ministry encompasses many different areas:

• Adult Education
• Children's Ministries
• Northminster Christian School
• Small Groups
• The Source Reborn
• Youth

Adult Education

One facet of our Christian education ministry focuses specifically on providing opportunities for the adults of our congregation to be exposed to a variety of classes. These classes range in content from scriptural studies, which help us to better understand the Bible and its meaning, to Christian-based teachings on topics and issues which impact our daily lives. The objective of this broad selection of classes is not only to educate but, through God's word, to bring about profound and positive changes in our lives.

As you look around the congregation, you will notice that we are a very diverse group of people. We embody a wide range of ages and interests, and the Adult Education program reflects this diversity. We offer classes which are varied both in their approaches and their content.
