Alpha!?

What’s It All About?

We’ve asked those who’ve taken Alpha (inside and outside of our church) how Alpha was a benefit for them ... and here is what we’ve heard from our previous courses:

• I gained an understanding of who I am in relation to God.
• Deepened my personal relationship with God.
• Much more open about talking about my faith.
• Friendships and a feeling of belonging.
• I had fun, learned a lot and felt uplifted after each class.
• I think God is still working in me and how I’ll use this learning.
• Love God more, pray more often and am reading the whole Bible.
• Stronger relationship with God, my husband and many new great friends.
• Brought back things I’d forgotten.
• Helped my faith. Helped answer important questions. Made me think and reflect on key issues.

And there were many more comments like these. Alpha is a simple, dynamic and effective way of introducing the essentials of the Christian faith to one and all. It’s geared for those who have questions, or for those who want to reaffirm or clarify what they believe. It’s open and helpful for all!

The Alpha Course is a ten-week practical introduction to the Christian faith, and it is designed to serve all denominations, traditions, backgrounds and ages (teens and older welcome!).
